Petition to United Nations and World Leaders
Every child is born with rights granted by Allah — the right to life, to safety, to knowledge, and to dignity. Today, children in Palestine are being denied all of them. Thousands of children are growing up without access to clean water, medical care, safe shelter, education, or even the simplest joys of childhood. The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “He is not one of us who does not show mercy to our young ones.” Yet the world continues to look away.
What Every Palestinian Child Deserves
Under international law and the universal values of Islam, every child has the right to:
-
- Survival — Access to food, clean water, shelter, and urgent medical care
- Education — The chance to learn, grow, and build a future free from ignorance and dependency
- Play — Safe spaces to be children, to laugh, to imagine, and to heal
- Peace — A life free from fear, violence, and displacement
What Needs to Change
We are calling on the United Nations, UNICEF, and world leaders to take immediate and meaningful action to:
-
- Guarantee the uninterrupted delivery of food, water, and medical supplies to children in Palestine
- Protect and rebuild schools and establish safe learning environments so no child misses their right to education
- Create protected safe zones where children can access recreational and psychological support
- Uphold and enforce the rights of Palestinian children under the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
- Publish transparent, regular reporting on the state of children’s welfare in Palestine
