Syrian children are facing a daily struggle to survive. Their lives have been severely impacted by thirteen years of conflict. 7.5 million children are living in poverty, unable to access the most basic items, with over half going to bed hungry. Many have been forced to flee their home and have no regular access to clean water or healthcare. These children need your immediate love, care and kindness to save their lives.

Maram* lives in Aleppo. Her three brothers passed away during the conflict, and she is raising their 9 children. The family’s home was destroyed in the earthquake in February 2023. They spent two and a half months living in a tent. It was freezing cold. The children burnt tyres to survive.
Maram said, “We have a lot of needs but the most important thing for me is that the children eat, drink and go to school. If one of them gets sick, I cannot afford to take them to the doctor. I cannot afford the transportation.”
The Syrian Arab Red Crescent came to support the family, providing medicine for one of the children, food parcels, and cash assistance to help them rent a house. Maram said, “I thought I was dreaming. I couldn’t believe I would have a house for the family again… Those children, this generation, deserve a better life, better food, clothes, and education.”
